Any chance that I could tempt you to look at decoding the model_lod_desc.bin from D2R Alpha client? It would allow us to port live models to the Alpha client and enable full TCP/IP support for the game.

Ostatnio chciałem sobie pograć z bratem w Diablo 2 po LAN-ie (nie jesteśmy żadnymi pro, ot tak), wszystko fajnie tylko mamy panoramiczne monitory, a wiadomo że gra lepiej by wyglądała na pełnym ekranie. Najlepsze byłyby rozdzielczości 960x600 i 1066x600 -- bez pomniejszania, a i tak pełny ekran. I tu pewnie by się przydał D2Ex2 z tym że:
"Working build compiled without ExMultiRes support."
Nie zrobiłbyś builda z tymi rozdzielczościami co podałem? Bardzo bym prosił. :) Jeżeli dostęp do Battle.net miałby być problem, to nie jest mi potrzebny (można zablokować jakby co).
W ogóle, myślę że do D2 przydałoby się coś w stylu HD moda do Herosów (https://sites.google.com/site/heroes3hd/). Coś co by dodawało różne rozdzielczości czy poprawiało rozmaite błędy w stylu tych nielatających zielonych papug z trzeciego aktu. Może D2Ex2 mógłby być czymś takim? Tylko wtedy instalacja powinna być łatwiejsza, bo nie każdy potrafi kompilować... (ja nie potrafię, na ten przykład). Oczywiście dostęp do Battle.net byłby zablokowany, żeby nie było kłopotów.

Hello,
There is a pretty big issue with massive FPS drops when you complete an act for the first time. It seems like it is triggered when the cinematic is supposed to play and the resolution is supposed to be temporarily changed. It happens even in windowed mode where cinematics cannot play.
Once you are moved to the next act your stat / skill buttons are broken on the UI bar across the bottom and it feels almost like a memory leak, it gets worse over time with more acts you complete and when there are a lot of missiles on the screen. It is as if the proper UI is failing to load after the cinematic sequence. Recreating the game fixes it until you complete another act. With some quick testing, it seems to be related to MultiRes patches.

I can compile and use d2ex2.dll, works great EXCEPT that I can't enable the multires feature, whenever I do it, the dll i build is compiled but I get the ''Cannot load d2ex2.dll"
OR
I get the line #1383 error 6fe2443e when trying to get in a game
Also, the source is missing build.h, I made a random one with a random build text and credits to you

Hi lolet, first I'd like to congratulate you for the masterpiece you made, I've been able to try d2ex on annihilus and I decided to use it with the public features on my own realm.
Now here's the trouble:
When I attempt to build it on VS 2017 v141 (w7 x64 here), it attempts to include boost libraries... should I compile this on eclipse/ubuntu? Would it be easier?
Throwing a UNHANDLED EXCEPTION error (c0000005) every time I'm ingame and press escape
Compiled under VS2015 with the v140 toolset and the Release 1.13d config
had to remove the build.h include and BUILDNO mentions because i couldn't find them in the git source
other than that everything is left at default including the stdAfx flags

other peoples' D2Ex2.dlls i found floating about work just fine
edit: seems to be related to not using D2EX_MINIMALRES and it having a problem with enumerating all my systems resolutions
