Issue with IE 8 and below about imagemapster HOT 3 CLOSED

Looks fine for me in a fiddle:

The one area (along the right edge) is active, tried it with IE 7 & 8.

What version of the script are you using? If anything other than the current dev version from here (under "dist" folder), give that at try.

You have a trailing comma in "areas" - IE treats this as an empty array element, other browsers ignore it. That is what's breaking it.

        },

        ]

You don't need that at all in the config unless you are going to set area-specific options. I'm not sure if you were just trying to show me simplified code and had gotten rid of other stuff from that or not, though, but I thought i would mention it.
