1. Clone the repository: git clone https://github.com/JamesLoma/django-blog.git

2. Navigate to the project directory:

cd blog

3. Create a virtual environment:

python -m venv venv

4. Activate the virtual environment:

• On Windows:

  .\venv\Scripts\activate
  

• On macOS/Linux:

  source venv/bin/activate
  

5. Install dependencies:

pip install -r requirements.txt

6. Apply migrations:

python manage.py migrate

7. Create a superuser (admin):

python manage.py createsuperuser

8. Run the development server:

python manage.py runserver

9. Open your browser and visit http://127.0.0.1:8000/ to view the blog.
