Steps to replicate:

Create a few user groups for testing
Create a field type of users, but only select 1 or more from sources (not all)
Add this field to a section entry type
Create an entry, and you'll notice you can't select a user
Disable the plugin and you now can - so the plugin is causing the issue

Is there a way for it to not hide the 'All Users' group in the sidebar. Issue is that when a non admin user creates a new users and forgets to add permission group to the new user, the user is then invisible to non-admins.

I gets error when trying to make graphQL request.
And Craft support had found out the error had been related to Hide Admin plugin.

The issue has gone after disabling the plugin.

Great (and vital) plugin. Surprised it's not part of the CMS itself tbh.

Any plans to add features where other user groups can be hidden based on the user group someone is in? For e.g. "Super User" can see users in "Standard User", but not vice versa, if that makes sense.

I'm also looking for something that only shows users added by that "author" rather than all users that have been added by whoever (a bit like entries author permissions). With this also in place for the user field type as well.

Any plans to support craft 4?
