So, long story short. I set a 1920 x 1080 picture as my profile picture in Goldleaf. I didn't know there was a 256 x 256 size limit. A new update was just pushed for Goldleaf, with an image size verifier.

I can't open my user page to change my picture (crashes if I tap to change picture). I can't play any of my games, it crashes before the select a user page shows up.

I can see my new profile picture in Checkpoint. Though from the user page, my icon is a large white box.

I tried your program. But the moment I press A to continue, it immediately crashes.

just launch avatool and press A.
applet mode - crashes atmosphere with error code 2168-0002
title mode - crashes atmosphere with error code 2011-0301

Edit: Caused by the 9.0 update as far as I can tell.

On latest Atmosphere/OFW, the app does not respond to button inputs and cannot be used.

This project hasn't been updated in ages, yet I'm making this issue regardless.
Running Avatool under applet mode (unsurprisingly) drops error 2168-0002
Running Avatool under title-override causes a 'the software was closed because an error occured' dialog
I have tried the following:

• Downloading the latest pre-release
• Compiling avatool from source with the latest libnx

Pressing A does absolutely nothing. I think this may be due to the changes in version 9?
Apparently a lot of homebrew needs to be rebuilt with newer versions of libnx.

It can be used in sys 16.0.0 normally，AMS1.5.0
But it can't start after i update sys16.0.1 and AMS 1.5.1

I can run the app, but when I press A, the switch crashes instantly not letting me change my avatar first.

The crash said 0100000000001000 (themes) was responsible for the crash, so I deleted it and tried again, but now it says 010000000000002F which doesn't seem to exist in my contents folder.
