crud's Introduction

Hi there!

I'm just your average Haskell zealot.

This Github profile mostly serves as a dumping ground for various little projects I experiment with. Maybe you'll find something of interest buried within it?

I currently work with Haskell full-time, but some of my other loves are Ruby, Rust, Lisp and C++.

crud's Issues

Make selecting the wallpaper select the whole screen

Selecting the wallpaper is a convenient way to select the whole screen in slop, a patch for it exists here, made by @vizs

Another solution (perhaps on top of this, perhaps on it's own) could be to have a specific button select the whole screen instead, middle click maybe

Exit on right click

Currently it seems like there's no way to close this without selecting anything, so I've been using a patch made by @vizs

http://0x0.st/ijtZ.diff - It's quite a simple change, so I don't see a reason for it not to be implemented.

Clean the code up

those rects could do with moving probably
also we should maybe make destroy_check its own function just to satiate non-GNU C
and it needs some comments
and maybe move the loop someplace too since main feels hectic now

compton draws a shadow for crud's window

I'm running picom as my desktop compositor, and as crud creates a new window, it draws a shadow which covers the entire screen. Other programs like slop don't have the same problem, so it should be avoidable (maybe a WM hint could solve it?).
