All the navbar links are getting disappeared when i open in smaller size.

Overview:

Introducing an Appointment Page with a user-friendly form and email integration will enable users to schedule appointments with doctors seamlessly. This feature aims to enhance the platform's functionality by providing a convenient way for users to book appointments and streamline communication between patients and doctors.

Features:

1. Login Redirect:

   • If the user is not logged in, they will be redirected to the login page before accessing the Appointment Page.
   • Ensure that users are authenticated before proceeding to book appointments to maintain security and privacy.

2. Appointment Form:

   • Display a form for users to input necessary details such as name, contact information, reason for appointment, and preferred appointment time.
   • Include a dropdown menu to select available time slots for the doctors' appointments.
   • Implement form validation to ensure that required fields are filled out correctly before submission.

3. Email Integration:

   • Upon form submission, send an email notification to the doctor's email address with the appointment details.
   • Include patient information such as name, contact details, reason for appointment, and selected appointment time.
   • Add an "Add to Calendar" button/link in the email to allow doctors to easily add the appointment to their calendar application.

Implementation Plan:

1. Backend Development:

   • Create backend routes and controllers to handle user authentication, form submission, and email notification.
   • Integrate with the platform's authentication system to enforce login before accessing the Appointment Page.
   • Implement email sending functionality using a suitable email service provider or SMTP server.

2. Frontend Development:

   • Design and develop the Appointment Page UI with the appointment form using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
   • Ensure that the form is user-friendly, accessible, and responsive across different devices and screen sizes.

3. Email Templating:

   • Create an email template for the appointment confirmation/notification email to be sent to doctors.
   • Customize the email template with dynamic placeholders to populate patient information and appointment details.

Footer is not taking the full width

I can add the functionality of login and register page and also then define the roles of doctor patient and admin i can define schema for the login and register page and write frontend code as well

add jwt based authentication (backend code)

steps i would take

1. install packages
2. create models
3. register and login routes
4. validate user credentials & generate JWT
5. middleware to verify JWT
6. store JWT on client side and include in every req
7. logout route to remove jwt

flexible to use any other authentication methods

Can I create appointment page:-
a) Appointment booking form
-Patient's name
-Contact info
-Preferred date and time
-Reason for the appointment(health concern)
-Doctor preference

b) Doctor Schedule calender (if the doctor is available or not)

The book your appointment button at the top of website is not working , Ideally It should take users to a different page where they can book their appointments.

Hi @itsmohit097 , The footer will look good if it has full width instead of white spaces at left and right. Also the links are not clickable, they are not being redirected to any page. Kindly assign me this task I want to contribute to this project and I will fix this issue.

Get in touch section has a picture besides the form which is not matching the all over website and also if i open it in mobile there is no picture which will affect the User Experience. Also the alignment of form with the picture is not so good. So i will remove it or add any other substitute which can match properly.

i observed that quick links option in all doctors is not working
I can fix this issue
it is either not routed properly or the page doesn't even exist or that feature is not working if they are no links as such

-- Taking the extra width
-- slider auto-play speed is too fast now
-- slider is working on scroll

Expected Behavior

-- Width will be set to the screen size (full width)
-- slider auto-play speed will be slow
-- slider will continue working as the page loads (infinitely), not on the scroll

I am raising an issue for this repository . The current navigation bar exhibits several areas for improvement. Primarily, the color scheme appears to be off, lacking cohesion with the overall design theme. Additionally, the padding and margins within the navigation elements seem insufficient, leading to a cramped and unpolished appearance.

I want to work on this under GSSOC 24 , so please assign it to me
