When I clicked sign in button, I waited a long time and nothing happened.

The app stays still and does notching each time I try to login. I have Premium, using the right creds, no VPN or anything. The Android 13 Media Player appears in the notification shade, but that's it.

Jetispot Proof-of-Concept 13 closes without reporting any particular error message, both on an Asus Zenfone 4 Max with Android 8 and on a Huawei Mediapad M5 Lite 10 with the same OS version.
Since the app itself closes without printing any log and I don't know much about Android app development, I am currently unable to provide debug info, but I'm available to try to extract it if there is some procedure I can follow.

Releasing the app on F-Droid would make people who like to use open source apps without the play store able to use it. I know that the app is currently expermental but it would be great to have it on F-Droid when you consider it useable and ready to be released. BTW the app looks and works great. An open source Spotify client for android was something I wanted for some time. Thank you so much.

Great app so far! I d like to see if I can replace my spotify app with this. The only thing holding me back is the android auto support.

I'm really searching a long time for a FOSS Spotify Client and this is by far the best thing I came across - even in this state.

Hi,
when I listen to music, I cannot scroll through the track using the time/progress bar on the "now playing" screen. The time/progress bar in the notification works fine.

Hey there, V11 with the redesigned Now Playing looks horrible. It's just a blank screen with a small album art.
The Media Control Line where you can move the song back / forward is also not working.

Sorry, but a third party client has to bring something new, preferably better, to the table. The app just replicates the atrocious design of the original client with less features and a Material You varnish. Why bother then?

Spotify needs better playlist and music management, better podcast isolation from the music, and a way to block unwanted playlists, artists and songs. If Jetispot could bring those, then now we're talking.

when I use my Bluetooth headset with Jetispot and put it out of my ears into the charging case, sometimes the playback automatically starts on the phone. The only possibility to stop the playback is to force Jetispot to stop via setting menu.

This behavior is consistently reproducible if I am listening to music with Jetispot on my phone and connect my laptop to the headset without stopping the playback on my phone first. With other Apps like AntennaPod the behavior is as expected - playback on the phone stops.

I've been having this issue for a long time and I wasn't be able to fix it by my own, so I'm opening this request.

Debugging the problem, I see that in the funciont get of the SpMetadataDb file, the app tells me that I can't put a value if it's null.

I recently downloaded the jetispot app and not able to play any of the songs, whether it's shuffle play or search for any songs, nothing is working as you can here. Am i missing something?

On my device, it does not reflect the current state, and clicking it does not work. I'm looking into this

Obviously not to bypass anything, just be able to have the option to download to storage so then when I'm on plane trips I can listen to music. I already have Spotify premium I just would rather be able to keep the music on my phone instead of stuck on the Spotify app (which regularly fails on me). I travel a lot so I think it would be a useful feature to have.

The problem is that the Row is not fillMaxWidth()

Can i open a PR for this? I start to look the codebase today and would like fix some bugs i found.

Do you have guidelines to make PR? I did never contribute to an open source project and would like to start with it.

Will there be an APK release soon or i need to build myself?
