internet-governance-timeline's Issues

Fix svg static version.

The SVG static version of our base visualization has been created through Adobe Illustrator 16.2.1, SVG Export Plug-In, which was the cause of dozens of bugs like overlaping words and a much bigger file than necessary. This scenario has demanded manual edition and clean up of the mentioned file.

Additionaly, editing this file by hand may provide an excelent background about how the static version in svg is structured, which will be very important while creating the automatic generation of the visualization.

(ex. ciberseguranca, infraestrutura, etc) - ver artigo laura di nardis

Identify avenues for participation for civil society to influence those processes, (qual o grau de abertura do evento? quem pode participar? soh governos ou tb comunidade tecnica, academica, sociedade civil e setor privado?)

Every event shall also be clickable for accessing links of the important background document (ideally: also have a space for users to suggest additional documents, processes, or other information to be added, through a suggestion form for example. Analyze the need for and feasibility of developing innovative automated mechanisms to integrate documents into the platform so that it is updated on a regular basis. Ex. RSS, web crawlers, etc.)

Build a resource library of the relevant documents is needed to accompany the visualization -- filterable by topic and organization, based on the same taxonomy.
