@micah The embedded jsquery is in at doc/_build/html/_static/jsquery.js in my local directories, but it shouldn't be in Github (and certainly shouldn't be in the PyPI bundles!).

@micah For packaging, do you need these two tarballs to be exactly the same? Because stuff like PKG-INFO is generated by doing python setup.py build (which is called when uploading packages to PyPI). Getting rid of some of the stuff dynamically generated by setuptools/distribute would be painful.

The reason that docs/_build was getting included was because graft docs was in MANIFEST.in.

@micah Okay, I think that most of this is fixed. There are still going to be a few differences, like the git repo will be the only one with MANIFEST.in, TODO, README.md (which is just a symlink), and the Makefile… please reopen and let me know if I need to correct any of those differences to facilitate packaging. And thanks for all your help. :)
