Need concise introduction (600 words max) to the field as a whole that summarizes the growing importance of machine learning in healthcare, the different impact areas, and some of the most important recent works.

As the repository gets bigger I think it is important to evaluate if the current setup makes sense or if you would rather it was broken down by modality (i.e. computer vision, nlp, audio...etc) or something else. Please comment on your preference.

I wanted to add some NLP tools. I already updated the readme on my local branch but the upstream pull request failed.
