qexiv

A qt gui for:

  • View images in a directory
  • View exif tags of an image
  • Geolocate images with a GPX file
  • Show position of an image in the browser
  • Edit the image description
  • Edit the image latitude and longitude
  • Edit the image artist, copyright, rating and processing software

Syntax:

  qexiv [directory]

Example:

  qexiv ~/photos

display/handling of non ascii-characters

After compiling, the program doesn't show non ascii-characters (ö/ü/ä/ß etc) in the exif data.
I'm petty sure darktable wrote the metadata to the images (i tested this with) in utf-8.
Is there a possibility to fix this?
