You can control stdout and stderr in your CI servers. The following won't print anything at all:
$ cordova-res >/dev/null 2>&1
Currently
cordova-res
return alwaysexit code === "0"
with errors inside of normal output stream...
I'm not seeing this.
$ cordova-res > /dev/null
ERROR: Missing source image for "icon" (sources: resources/android/icon.png, resources/android/icon.jpg, resources/android/icon.jpeg, resources/icon.png, resources/icon.jpg, resources/icon.jpeg)
$ echo $?
1
If you use --json
, all logs are put in stderr and the final result is a JSON object in stdout representing the generated resources or an error message. Either way, it will have the correct exit code.
$ cordova-res --json 2> /dev/null
{
"error": {
"code": "BAD_SOURCES",
"message": "Missing source image for \"icon\" (sources: resources/android/icon.png, resources/android/icon.jpg, resources/android/icon.jpeg, resources/icon.png, resources/icon.jpg, resources/icon.jpeg)",
"sourceErrors": []
}
}
$ echo $?
