Seems possible with NSPasteboardItem and the provider. Need to see if I have any trouble with permissions writing temporary files.

It may be a useful powerful feature.

Seems the NSWindowDelegate can also act as first responder, so just use that.

It should not try to overwrite them. Instead it should append a number.

• DONE: Look up the SF Symbols app and use a standard filter icon.
• Check locale when filtering, as it might use lowercase conversion for case insensitive search. For example check the Turkish i variants.
• DONE: Fix the "move up" and "move down" actions to check the filtering.

Undecided whether it should be a separate menu item or a checkbox inside the import panel.

This is not what I want; I want tab to simply get me out of the table into the search field.

Right now only CMD+E has this effect, but manual user interaction hasn't, which is inconsistent.

Instead of always .lmp, suggest more appropriate extensions if readily available. For example,

• DEHACKED shall get .deh,
• MIDI songs shall get .mid,
• MUS songs .mus,
• common sound formats shall get .flac/.mp3/.ogg/.wav
• EDF lumps shall get .edf
• EMAPINFO shall get .ini
• PNG shall get .png

This should reduce the mess. Put a subfolder inside app's temporary directory and store all copied lumps there. When clipboard gets changed, delete everything old there.
