docker-examples's Issues

boot2docker doesn't use vagrant or port forwarding

Point 1 is confusing:
Boot2docker uses virtualbox (currently, although that may change) and is a self contained installer, client cli and tiny ISO. Not Vagrant - no other dependencies need to be installed and it works on linux osx and windows with the same CLI/API.

Port forwarding isn't used by boot2docker (AFAIK) - in boot2docker you have to go to the IP that the virtual machine runs on (some people map it via /etc/hosts as boot2docker or dockerlocal or something).

This is more about if you already use vagrant - than a coreos image could be used as an alternative to boot2docker (which is fine). Just skip the first point ;)
