Hi

My KS2 mines at around 2056ghz. when I tried the OC it drops to 1350GHZ. When i restored to factory settings and then upgraded from Iceriver I get back to the 2056GHZ.
Any ideas as to what I could be doing wrong?
I also downloaded the update and used the upgrade option on the asic.

I was curious if there were plans for these two profiles, for people with rather bad silicon lotteries. The 150 OC does help immensely for people who couldn't do full 160 (thanks for that by the way).

Hello. After my previous problem(was solved) I still have to reset my miners and upgrade them every 2-3 days. But it's ok, because I'm able to mine. now have other problem. Yesterday 2 my miners stopped mine. on WEB GUI shows Hashrate - 0, Diff - 0G, Shares - 0. Status connected. I'm not able to reset to Factory Settings by reset button on front of device. Hold few minutes with no result. Green LED still flashing, but Red one solid all time. I'm able to reset from GUI, but still not mine. Now GUI shows Factory firmware, but not mine.

So I tried the new 40% OC but it's not reaching the hashrate it was supposed to which is 2800 am reaching like 2600 and a high increase in watts.

Does anyone know what's the issue or should I just go back to 25% OC?

KS1 is not updated.
I tried to fill in the firmware several times, as a result, the hash does not grow. I had to switch to 25%.
I consulted with other owners of KS1, they have the same thing

I don’t see if it’s possible or not to have an auto fan option like in the previous update form iceriver with this overclocks firmwares. Can you enlighten me please?

What is the difference between ks1OCupdate.bgz and ks1update25.bgz? I used to use ks1OCupdate.bgz normally but now switching to ks1update25.bgz fails to overclock Even restoring factory Settings and cutting back to ks1OCupdate.bgz won't help. What file is ks1update25.bgz changed even if the factory Settings can not be changed? I can go back through the eclipse ide and reuse ks1OCupdate.bgz @incidrthreat

Hi, Thank you very much for the help in creating the SSH root right and the oc. I ran into a problem that, unfortunately, I'm not good at. I connected my KS0 machine to a HiveON hub. Unfortunately, after 24 hours the http connection is interrupted and the http process stops on ks0. Probably due to too many connections. It does it on several machines, in several different networks. After a restart, everything is fine again, but it is unpleasant to restart constantly. Do you know where, which file contains the necessary settings?

Maybe the fan can be overwritten at the file level by default so that it runs continuously? Unfortunately, after 1-1 restart, it returns to 0 (automatic)

is there any problem with my ks2 that can't reach up to 40%? it is just reach to 2500gh
may device need powerfull power?
or my ks2 asics not so good for reaching that?
must i change the framware to 25% ? or no problem with 40% framware 2500gh?

Does the miner oc apply to this version on the same factor %?

Hello. Please help me.
I have 5 KS0 devices. Decided to upgrade. Started with first one. I downloaded 160 firmware, open miner GUI and started upgrade. It shows upgraded successfully . Asked to reboot
After rebooting miner booted properly and start mining. I waited few minutes until pool recognized it and continue with other miners.
After upgrades May be 40 minutes later I found my hashrate didn't increase, still about 100 GH/s. I decided to reboot them by disconnecting power cord. After this all my ASICS weren't able to boot. I can ping them. I installed Eclipse and able to see file system of each ASIC, but don't know how I can fix them.
Please, help me to restore normal work of my devices

Fan settings do not hold. I have 2 units that i set to 100%, save it and goes back to 0% I have one that holds the fan settings.

I have tried all the original files and the new 120~`160 files, always reboots and mines at 100gh.
I just went to try the Eclipse method but the "miner.bgz" file has been removed... Ugh...

I just got my 2nd KS0 and same thing happens... I flash with up to day firmware and reboot, works fine. I flash with any other and reboot and 100gh...

Please put the miner.bgz file back up so I can try that method...

I have no problem with the KS1 ks1OCupdate overclocking firmware. I switched to the newly updated KS1 firmware ks1update25.bgz, which can only run 600g of computing power. Even if you restore the factory Settings and use ks1OCupdate, you can only run 600g.

How do I restore my miner to a state without using ks1update25.bgz to use ks1OCupdate.bgz @incidrthreat

I am a pool owner and I have seen many of our users switch to your firmware.
But when they connect to our mining port, the miners send invalid shares.

Here is what happens technically:
We send to your miner that the nonce value has to start with: ef94 with a nonce size of 6
But the miner sent us this nonce: 0xef96060599de04ac
Here is the error we see:
Invalid Share by: .KS3; nonce value is wrong: 0xef96060599de04ac expected: ef94

As you can see the nonce space that should be reserved seems to be iterated.

when I upgrade the ks0 to 150 or 160gh it fails to communicate with the pool and stays at 0gh and 0 accepted requests even when connected to the pool.

I am currently mining at 140gh maintained with oc file 140.

Does anyone have the same problem?

I need the miner.bgz file to test the eclipse method if someone is kind enough to re-upload it I would appreciate it.

After overclocking with update160.bgz, is the 3.99% pool rejection acceptable or this is considered too much ?

I have tried all OC's on my 3 KS0's. Every time I get greatly improved hashrates, but 30%+ rejected shares as shown on the pool side AND in the web gui. Restoring the IceRiver firmware takes me down to sub 1%. I have let them run on different pools for 3-5 days each but no improvement in the rejected shares.

I decided to buy some new 150w laptop chargers to upgrade my KS0.

The thing is, their connectors cannot be inserted into the machine because they are too big. Can anyone confirm if the jack needs to be 5.5mm output diameter?

after accessing to ks3l via eclipse. hello, i followed your guide. is accessed to ks3l successfully. i added a new user with root privileges. then i flashed your ks3lupdate.bgz. unfortunately it did not work for me. then i flashed iceriver firmware again. it is working regularly. anyway, my root privileged account working still after 2 flashes. it is normal? if it is normal iceriver did not flash entire disk. just change some neccessary files... am i right?

Hello. One of my KS0 machines was using 140 OC. I decided to upgrade to 150 a few hours ago, and left it running.

It's been about 3 hours now but the hashrate is unchanged from before (a few days average of 133-134GH). It should have at least increased to 140~, but it doesn't reach more than 134GH. The temperature increased from 61 to 64 however, so more power is definitely being drawn.

I'm using 120W power and herominer pool. What could be the cause?

My KS2 when i upgrade to the new 40% OC will start warming up for 3-4 minutes. It will get to 50 C and then the boards start cooling down and only will do 1200 Th/s max even after 10-20 mins. I went back to the old 25% OC and all is good. I Upgraded to the new 25% OC and and it doesn't show hashboards anymore. Back to the older 25% OC and working good.

no hashrate in gui but on mining pool getting 150ghz. in gui showing 0 . is that normal ?

I tried updating to the 150 oc file but it's getting me 160 hashrate. I also noticed that the filesize for these two is identical at 11.402 KB. Is this a mistake or am I doing something wrong? I factory reset my miner and then updated to the 150 file, but got 160 hashrate.

They both have the same wattage of 150W, but there's 0.5V difference in voltage. Is it negligible?

I did notice that the Readme links to 19.5V adapters, while the 120W stock adapters use 19V.

So , update was fine , but afeter 1 day , i see that every 3h miner stop mining on mypool and restart mining after 1h , so my question was where go to mine ? there are some % of ming for developper ?

I can't seem to find the OC Firmware for the KS3L Model even though there is a folder for it and a SHA256 for said file. Am I missing something?

I want to extract the firmware file to have a look into the code. I have tried diffrent method like Gunzip etc to open it up, but no success. Please suggest me how to extract .bgz firmware file. Thanks in Advance!

I am hoping that someone can help me with my issue. I have had some great help to use eclipse to upload the OC update through the file system. However, after a hard restart the OC update will not take and the file disappears. I did have an OC update that would work but I wanted to test something out and did a factory reset.

The OC update through eclipse is added to the file system explorer at VAR -> volatile -> tmp -> bg -> uploads. Any ideas?

Any chance you have the stock files? If i factory restore from an OC the save button becomes inactive. I can press it until the cows come home but it does not bring up the conformation of success popup. Im not able to open the ELF files or the bgz files because i havent been able to get petalinux to work correctly with wsl. I may be off base but the only thing i can think of is in the bg.sh file if you follow the progression towards the end it makes a call to the appweb file. If this is changed in any way from the iceriver beta firmware update which the OC's are based on then it may be this file that is borked. Just a theory.

My KS0 has been mining fine up until today when it suddenly just stopped mining upon further investigation I see both indicator lights are just continuously flashing, I have tried to reset the board using the reset but have had no luck, is there any other way of flashing the board to default firmware to see if the board is still working or is this error an indication the board is fried?

Looking at long run, staying profitable the watt/gh is key, my question we know that oc increases hash but also efficiency decreases. Will downclock increase efficiency and if yes is it possible to have some Mod files with lower clocks (for those who want to be more efficient instead of fast.

I have 4x KS0, 2 from the very first batch, and 2 from second batch.

Both second batch miners are running 160g firmware happily, however both first batch KS0 are encountering issue on the firmware.

I tried 160g / 150g firmware on both problematic miners, both are not hashing. I connected to Herominers and were able to see they are connected, but retargetted to lower difficulties (same on kaspa-pool.org) but did not submit any share at all.

I then tried 140g firmware on both, they are getting 111 to 112g constantly.

I again tried 120g firmware, and they were working as expected. 119-121g.

I am wondering if anyone else have first batch KS0 having the same issue, or i am so unlucky that both first batch KS0 cannot go beyond 120g.

I failed to update the KS2 OC firmware, web GUI notice: miner returns failed. And the hashrate has no chage.

I realize that this is mostly a PoC at the current point in time, do you plan on releasing details on how to actually modify the stock firmware package yourself? The idea is ofc to minimize powerdraw(voltage) and thus strain on the hardware at a given hashrate since the required voltage will be based on luck.

Please publish a version with fan at 100% by default as power issue continues the system will go to 50% fan by itself after restarting I want it to go 100% as can't be set by deafult

Using the 25% overclock on the KS1, one of my hashboards drops from 500GH/s to 380 GH/s 30 min avg over the course of a day.

The other board however is fine at ~590 GH/s. Curious if anyone else has this issue, or if there is a 10% overclock out there?

The same hashboard slightly underperforms on stock as well (450GH/s 30 min avg)

remove the plates on both sides and install the adapter for standard 120mm fan on the power connector side.

1. Iceberg Official Website: After upgrading, when the KS1 connects to the server, it waits for about 10 minutes, but there is no hashing power at all, and the power consumption remains around 50W.

2. Similarly, updating the firmware form here, the KS1 connects to the serve, and waits for about 10 minutes, but there is no hashing power at all, and the power consumption remains around 50W.

3. Restore factory settings: After the KS1 connects to the server, it has hashing power in about 2 minutes, approximately 1T, and power consumption is around 600W.

It's strange that my KS1's factory firmware is displayed as "Version BOOT_2_0.BIN image_1.0 sy0620_ks2miner 0616_ks2bg."
Does anyone know how to resolve this issue?
