Make the description box smaller, or make the Previous button move left.

Have clicking on a feature open a model with information regarding the strike.
Link to strikes in same year/month/country.

Add min and max deaths to individual strike info.
If you don't automatically go to the strike when it's selected, have a "centre on" button which does it.

Look here for other sources (OSM, MapQuest, ...)
I'm not sure whether other are localised/internationalised, but the current implementation seems not very useful for anyone who doesn't speak all the languages.

• Maybe have a zoom-to-strike function.
• Use the thing where icons group together (maybe with the number) when zoomed out.
• Make the selected strike icon work.

Is it worth having a programme on the master branch which gets the data and saves into a local json file in the gh-pages branch?
It could also generate some html (like the date it was last updated)?

• Make all the links secure and whatnot

Possibly add the date of the selected strike to the timeline.
Possibly have the date in the info panel below the locaiton.
Make the border of the info panel the right colour (dark grey rather than black)

Give the clustered features a slightly larger radius.
