While the previous tutorial focused only on text input and just basic QA, this one shows you how to get the token count from the query that you want to send to the model. We'll be making design adjustments and updating the code available in this repository.

Prerequisites

Before you begin, make sure you have the following:

  1. API Key from Google AI Studio: Get Your API Key
  2. Latest preview version of Android Studio Iguana: Download Here

Project Setup

  • Open Android Studio.
  • Import the project you downloaded.
  • Reload the gradle project
