Hi 👋, I'm Om Srivastava

A passionate web developer, always looking to learn new things

I'm Om Srivastava (Ilikepizza2/OmieChan). I am a prefinal year student at IIIT Lucknow. I am an experienced web developer and have worked with clients from all over the world on 40+ projects. I have also done an intern at ANM-Labs, South Korea as an SDE remote intern. Nowadays, I'm looking into a bit of machine learning and deep learning. I am also a competitive programmer with rating of 1591 at Codeforces.

Improve Hash Generating Algorithm

Since the current function uses Math.Random() to generate a hash, it isn't very secure and can be predicted. Improve the algorithm used to generate better passwords with good encryption and safety.

Add Responsiveness to Design

On smaller viewports, the box contents seem to be spilling over. Fix it with a redesign or some CSS adjustments.

Add themes for the UI to improve user experience

A user preferring light mode would appreciate having an option to enable that. Add a functionality to do the same. Feel free to add more themes as needed.

Add text box for slider value to manually enter value

User experience will improve a lot if instead of using the slider, an option for manual entry of the length of password is provided. Add a textbox with suitable limits and design for the slider value.

Remove Copied Sign after some time

Once a password is copied, remove the copied sign from it after a certain timeout. This can improve the user experience as the user can now see the password they have copied instead of just the "Copied" text.
