if i send a dm to the bot, it is not relayed to the specified channel, it is however posting and listening to commands from the channel.
can you assist in this case?

Discord caps normal messages at 2k characters, but embeds can be up to 4096. With this in mind, only messages directed from server to DM is affected.

There is no fix for this, obviously, but it should also not silently fail and it would be great if a user-comprehensible error were delivered to the server channel.

The DM functions such as DMing the bot and it forwards it to the channel do work, but all of the bot commands such as dm, ignore, m, r, etc do not work. The commands don't work and it's not giving any errors in the terminal or on discord if something is wrong. Everything is just unresponsive so I don't know what the issue is or how to fix it.
