Icinga Web Training Module

This module is a guide to help you write your own modules for Icinga Web.

Prerequisites

This content assumes that you are familiar with web development using PHP and working with SQL databases.

Add Hint: Module names cannot contain _

We need to add the hint that module names cannot contain _

Check dependencies

I noticed the jquery version is not the one we currently use, so we need to double check all dependencies mentioned for Icinga Web 2 - or kick out that section in general.

Extend ipl-sql and ipl-orm content

There should be more examples for the ipl-orm and ipl-sql.

Add training for using forms

I think we should add some content that explains the use of Forms

Explain the CompatForm Class

The use of Forms to change data

database example

Can you add an example (based on a ido database ressource) to "Unsere eigene Bibliothek" please?

Change 'Netways Training' strings to 'Icinga Training'

Add a section about working with IcingaDB

We should maybe have content regarding IcingaDB here, so that people know how to integrate and or migrate their modules.

Can this be removed or should the rest of the sentence be added?

Wenn wir die Url ( training/application/controllers ) jetzt aufrufen, erhalten wir eine Fehlermeldung:

ist falsch:
die URL sollte aber (training/hello/world) sein

Add a section about Themes and Theme Modes

We should add a little bit more information about Themes and Theme Modes.
