slo-up's Issues

Memory leak if network connection interrupted mid-upload?

It seems that there is some kind of memory leak if the connection to the network breaks while an upload is in progress. Memory usage climbs by a few MB/sec until the connection is restored. After the connection is restored, this continues for a time, and then the upload continues where it left off and memory usage begins to fall again. It is unclear whether it will return to its initial level or whether the leak adds some memory overhead for the lifetime of the process.

While this leak is occurring (while the network is unavailable) there is a CPU utilization spike.

Observed on MacOS 10.12.1 with go 1.7.3 darwin/amd64

Difficult to predict upload resume time

When the connection breaks, it sometimes takes a long time for the upload to resume once the connection comes back. Why? Can something be done about this?
