apiconnect's Issues

Cannot find module 'lodash.pick'

After installing the API Connect V5 Toolkit I'm trying to create an API in Node.js with these steps but at apic edit I got this error:

Error: Cannot find module 'lodash.pick'

Unable to log into IBM CLOUD

After several tickets submitted No Labs can be accessed for IBM training courses, from all that I read the original feature code issued is valid for a period of time, does anyone know if IBM will extend a feature code or issue a new code.

Could there be anything on my computer stopping IBM Cloud website from opening or is an IBM issue?

I was able to access and use the labs early in the year.

Unclear documentation

This part of the documentation is outdated. The icon has changed.

I also cannot seem to find this section. It is also unclear whether this should be in the API Designer UI or somewhere else. I suggest adding instruction on how to access the test console and Start the server

Tutorials do not tie well together

I want to create a loopback api, and then manage/secure/rate-limit that API using API Connect.

I was off to a great start using https://console.bluemix.net/docs/services/apiconnect/tutorials/tut_create_api_node.html#creating-an-api-in-node-js

But the tutorial ends after testing the API...with Next Steps pointing to "Manage a REST service or Manage a SOAP service"

These Next Steps tutorials do not continue where this ended. Key information is missing:

  1. How do I deploy the application (to IBM Cloud) that I just created using api loopback?
  2. What is and where can I get the OpenAPI file for the loopback application I created?

The tut_create_api_node tutorial needs this information before directing the user to tut_import_openapi_rest_bm

Incorrect URL to Secure Gateway documentation

Reading the API Connect documentation, I've found an incorrect link to Secure Gateway documentation.

Where: https://cloud.ibm.com/docs/apiconnect?topic=apiconnect-managing_apis#expose_apis_sec_gate_managing_apis
Text: For more information about the Secure Gateway service, and how to set it up, see About Secure Gateway

The link is redirecting to https://cloud.ibm.com/docs/services/SecureGateway?topic=index#getting-started-with-sg but this is no longer a valid URL for Getting Started with Secure Gateway service. Currently, the available link is this https://cloud.ibm.com/docs/SecureGateway?topic=SecureGateway-getting-started-with-sg.

Wrong link to installation instructions

Docs for Secure Gateway seem to be incorrect

@ejbowling I was setting up a secure gateway using these instructions https://console.bluemix.net/docs/services/apiconnect/managing_apis.html#managing_apis published Jan 17th.

However they don't seem to work on my London space.

Are the docs out of sync with the releases?
I used the old way of creating a secure gateway and everything worked as expected

I also noticed that some of the links in the step by step popups point to our internal test systems which most public users won't have access too.
