Since it generates a 2-hour interval every 4 hours, the generator's output inadvertently skips half the matches out of the overall match pool. Could lead to minor data bias due to possible geographic playstyle differences (say some of those two-hour intervals lead to reduced representation of certain geographic areas, where the game might be played slightly differently). Likely not very damaging, but also not ideal. Rewrite shouldn't be a big deal.
