vscodefy's Issues

Login button didn't work

I tried to sign in through the login button, as showed in the gif, but, for some unkown reason, it didn't open the login page on my browser. I tried to do execute vscode as admin, and redo the process, but it didn't work.

For what I could see, seems that it did actualy executed the function that opens the browser, but it wasn't able to open a new tab.

Browser: Google chrome 70.0.3538.110
Vscode: 1.29.1

For anyone having the same issue, just access the url directly: https://vscodefy.netlify.com/.

Self signed certificate

After installing the extension, nothing happens when clicking the buttons, as the image below:

I tried using the Spotify: Pick a device command, but it gave the error as pictured below:

I'm using:
Windows 10

BTW, Can be my network with firewall, I'll check.

Please add user settings

First of all, gj for creating a working extension, the other ones aren't even showing in the statusbar.

Secondly, these are the settings i'd like to see:
show/hide for each control/button
show left/right/center(does center even work?)
show/hide artist

Conflicts with Github Copilot

Expectation:
I can write code with Github Copilot occasionally suggesting code snippets and easily skip to the next song when playing music on Spotify using Vscodefy.

Reality:
Github Copilot stops suggesting code as soon as I enable the Vscodefy extension.

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Install Visual Studio Code
  2. Install the extension Github Copilot (additional steps required: sign in with Github account opted-in for copilot, see here, and accept telemetry dialog)
  3. Write some code and see it autocomplete
  4. Install the extension Vscodefy (additional steps required: sign in with Spotify Premium account)
  5. Github Copilot no longer shows any code suggestions.

Steps to fix Github Copilot:

  1. Disable the extension Vscodefy
  2. Reload Visual Studio Code

Additional information:

  • Operating System: Ubuntu 21.10
  • Visual Studio Code Install Method: deb, snap (any)
  • Visual Studio Code Version: 1.64.2
  • Github Copilot Version: nightly-1.7.5011
  • Vscodefy Version: 0.0.11

An issue has also been filed for Github Copilot, see here.

Convert Extesion to TypeScript

When I develop this extension in think that was a good idea develop in JavaScript, but looking up and seeing I don't find another extension built-in JavaScript and to facilitate another peoples help to improve this extension I think that is the best choice.

Does not connect

When i try to login with my spotify account, it shows me this message:
INVALID_CLIENT: Invalid redirect URI

and i cannot login with my spotify account

Request failed with status code 500

after i got the OAUTH code, i try to configure i recieve this error:

Request failed with status code 500

yesterday I thought that was my own internet, or something with the server, but i try too many times today, and nothing

sorry if i bother you guys with silly things :x
but thanks for the help from yesterday problem, and for this too
