hyprkeys's Issues

rofi

Readme shows an image of hyprkeys being used with a rofi script. Is there a source for the example?

from-ctl returns two objects.

When running

hyprkeys --from-ctl --json

I get the following output:

[
 /* ... my keybinds */
]
{} / * Extra random json object? */

It also outputs the table twice if I use the markdown option:

| Keybind | Locked | Mouse | Release | Repeat | Submap | Dispatcher | Command |
... my keys....

| Keybind | Dispatcher | Command |
|---------|------------|---------|

Is this an intended behaviour, or is this something that should be fixed?

BUG: Wrong version printed by hyprkeys version

Calling hyprkeys version gives Hyprkeys: v1.1.0 which has been set in cmd/version.go in release v1.0.2

It could be worth considering something similar to what nebula does in using ldflags to set the Version variable at compile if not already set. this means that the version is automatically picked up when using git.

Doesn't detect keybindings that are defined outside of hyprland.conf..

I have organised my hypr config folder relatively neatly so I have separated the binds into different .conf files in a binds/ folder and then I reference them in my hyprland.conf (source= $configdir/binds/workspaces.conf).

Unfortunately, it seems that with hyprkeys it can't detect them unless all of your binds are defined in hyprland.conf directly.
