I came across this repo while looking for a chatbot widget that I can use for my POC's and later for production. I would like to understand

1. What are the steps to locally deploy this widget and open a chat window? I come from a non-js background, hence detailed steps would be appreciated.

2. Can I modify the widget to make rest api calls in order to simulate a chatbot that accepts user queries and responds back? The response could come from an api call response. If I can do this, guide me through the code where I call my rest api call.
