GoMail

A lightweight CLI mail client written in Go.

Prerequisites

Install Go tools

Dependencies

TODO: Automatically grab these packages instead of having to go get each of them

Run the following code to grab the packages needed to run the Go program and its tests correctly:

go get github.com/gorilla/mux
go get github.com/stretchr/testify/assert

Running the code

  • Make sure that Go is installed and PATH environment variable is updated (see Go docs linked above)
  • Navigate to project directory, run go run main.go

Running the tests

  • Run go test from the project directory
