Would you be able to fix this by adding a map or path config for jquery to your requirejs configuration? It is hard to be sure without seeing the code you are working with, but if jquery is loaded and just not hooked into requirejs, you should be able to force it to show up.

Also, you could resort to adding something like this before the vex js is loaded:

define('jquery', [], function() { return window.jQuery; });

from vex.

works without a problem. Thanks a lot. Guess this could be added to the docs :)
