walktheweb's Issues

Web Aliases are duplicating on the page

when you have more than one user, the web aliases are duplicating on the list.

In addition, I select http and it shows on the list as https when updating an alias.

Web Alias deletion

Created a web Alias. then deleted it. But it is still in the wtw_webalieases table.

Account management

Logging in:

When you add email and password and click login, there should be a wheel or something so the user understand the logging in process started and its not just that the system is not responding.

image

The page (image above) does not change until you refresh from the browser (combined with the point above, user may wait for some time and leave the platform thinking logging in doesn't work). That’s when you can see you are actually logged in:

Creating an account :

I added the details in create account form and clicked twice. I ended up with a duplicated account:

Image Texture not appearing when you set it

When editing any Building Block object, Image texture is not appearing. (red and black checkerboard). This was a result of switching from database driven images to file driven images... When you refresh the page, the image is set. Will work on the immediate response part...

Dashboard, media library, upload files:

Uploaded a Jpeg image, cant see it in the media page unless I tick “show hidden”, then it appears but doesn’t show a thumbnail in the media page:

image

I click on information (!) under it, and this is what I get:

image

If I click on the link I get this:

image

The image opens normally if I browse it from the server files:

Tried to upload a png image, all the same happens beside, it is shown (broken thumbnail) without ticking the “show hidden files”. Otherwise all the same.

.glb files are not uploading. Nothing happens when you select a file and try to upload. And if I upload a glb into the same file on the server directly (tried to test if it is just an upload script issue), the platform doesnt see it in “my files”. Which can also be a challenge as many may need to add bulk media files by extracting it directly to the server instead of uploading then one at a time from the dashboard.

  • Added building to a community, but now I cant see it from admin dashboard nor if I am browsing as a guest even if in the menu in the footer, it suggest the building is actually there. I wonder it is the same issue like in saving media:

** Content folder permission on the server:
