widgets's Issues

Examples and/or Docs?

Hi, I've just come across this repository. After installing into a fresh Squeak 5.3 according to the README, I see a Widgets-Views-Examples package, but it's empty. Ditto for Widgets-Documentation. Are they supposed to be empty or is this some baseline config issue?

Also do you all have a getting started guide, or perhaps some other small repository that uses these Widgets with some examples of their use?

Thanks!

ToolBuilder?

Not sure if I missed any existing implementation, but provided that there is not yet any UiToolBuilder, I would find it quite useful. I'm not deep into the widgets implementation, but ideally, you could replace the default MorphicToolBuilder in Squeak with this tool builder to completely change the design of Squeak. This would also be a nice demonstration of the adjustability of Squeak.

Regex from SqueakSource

widgets depends on Regex which is loaded from SqueakSource.
Not sure if this is the only source, but it might be good to update the dependency, since SqueakSource has been read-only for quite a while now.

Support "infinity" in table view

Support an Excel-like illusion of an infinite space structured as a grid. Mouse clicks and keyboard navigation should materialize that space in the model as needed.

UiUnanticipatedProgressService swallows many keyboard inputs when image is busy

I have been trying out to run the UiUnanticipatedProgressService since yesterday, nice tool! However, when my image is busy while I am typing something into any PluggableTextMorph(Plus)/CodeHolder, I noticed frequently that some characters are swallowed and do not appear in the text morph. The problem does not occur if I resume/terminate the background process of the progress service. I did not yet investigate the issue further, but it makes the service more or less unusable. :-(
