Logging with EFK in Kubernetes

This workshop shows how to install the EFK (Elasticsearch, Fluentd and Kibana) stack in Kubernetes using Helm, to get application logs.

The workshop is available as a video on youtube:

And these are the amin commands used to install EFK:

$ helm install elasticsearch stable/elasticsearch wait for few minutes..

$ kubectl apply -f .\fluentd-daemonset-elasticsearch.yaml

$ helm install kibana stable/kibana -f kibana-values.yaml

$ kubectl apply -f .\counter.yaml

Open Kibana dashboard.

Fluentd daemonset config error file="/fluentd/etc/fluent.conf"

salam aleykom Houssam,

I am following your steps regarding the installation of EFK stack to my AWS kubernetes cluster, but I am facing an issue with fluentd daemonset file. When i deploy fluentd-daemonset-elasticsearch.yaml I am getting this error

[error]: config error file="/fluentd/etc/fluent.conf" error_class=Fluent::ConfigError error="Invalid Kubernetes API v1 endpoint https://10.100.0.1:443/api: Timed out connecting to server"

Kindly if you have any update or changes do share whenever possible. Thank you.
