Global Dark Theme not working about arc-theme HOT 16 CLOSED

The dark theme doesn't exist at the moment, but I'm working on this.

I'd also love to see this, one of the best themes I've seen so far, just with a 29' monitor, too much white is painful.

Heavily +1'ing this. Would be great if dark theme is implemented, till then sticked with Vertex.

Indeed, the problem here is that the dark theme is taken for some apps global dark theme or not and the dark themed windows has unconsistency issues on XFCE MATE and old Cinnamon releases and what I love from this theme is the consistency.

I can add a build option to completely disable the dark theme.

I recently created a branch called dark_variant. With this branch the global dark theme should be working, but it's not very well tested and a bit unfinished. I will merge it into master when it's tested sufficiently.

Google Chrome's file selector menu doesn't look all too nice with it.

The dark theme is now working. Check the latest update. Please report related problems in separate issues.

@sergioad I didn't add an option to disable the dark theme completely, yet. But it should be enough to do

sudo rm /usr/share/themes/Arc/gtk-3.0/gtk-dark.css
