hoptb.jl's Issues

Velocity matrix element v[n,m] when band n and m are degenerate

Dear Developers,

I am trying to calculate orbital Hall conductivity using HopTB, and I need to use the velocity matrix. But as shown in the code,
"v[n, m] is only correct when band m is nondegenerate or completely degenerate", so I wonder how to deal with the situation that band n and m are degenerate.
Thank you for your help

Best regards,
Pan

How to get started with HopTB?

Dear Developers,

I am trying to get a band structure using HopTB, and I already have Hamiltonian from DeepH. I would also like to be able to use other calculated modules.
Could you please tell me how to prepare the input file and run the program? I will be grateful.

Best regards,
Yang

How HopTB interfaces with wannier90

Dear Developer,
Can you please tell me how to interface HopTB with wannier90 on linux. I would be grateful if you could advise how to install and use it. Thank you for your patience in answering this question.

About shift vector

Dear developer.

I would like to ask,
Is it possible to calculate the shift vector using HofTB.jl?

Best Regards
Joel

A more detail documentation and example is required.

Hi, prof. Chong, I am Hui Zeng, a CMTer. Recently I used your hop program to calculate the nested Wilson loop, but I am confused when processing the input and output data. Would you pls add some examples that teach us how to use this wonderful program?

If HopTB can run well on Windows?

Dear Developers,

I often like to transfer the Wannier90 results obtained on Linux to a Windows system for further research. I want to ask if HopTB can run well on Windows? Also, I would like to inquire whether the prepared Hamiltonian matrix is required in the second quantization or the k·p model.

Can you tell me how to prepare input files and run the program? I would greatly appreciate it.

Best regards,
Yang

Simple examples or tutorial?

Dear developers

is there any simple wiki webpage or tutorial to use HopTB? from band structure, to import Wannier/openMx
wave-functions and do on?
