Holodex

What?

Holodex is a rolodex for holons, where

a rolodex is a simple and powerful interface to discover, understand, and organize personal contacts, and
holons are fractal and emergent networks of people and groups via roles and relationships.

We are a modular app within the Open App Ecosystem, where other apps can rely on us as the single source of truth for people and groups' profile, role, and relationship information. We are not a "secure identity vault" that provides authentication (who you are as a cryptographic key), that is for another modular app.

How micro should a Personator be?

This is a much more general issue, not really about this app, but related to https://github.com/valueflows/valueflows/issues/86

I'm putting it here because it came to mind when I was thinking of a Personator as an impersonator. The purpose of this app is well-stated as "to enable someone...to create, view, edit, or delete their personal linked open data profile".

As an impersonator, a personator would be your agent, able to post your intents, respond to other peoples' intents, engage in conversations for action, give and take goods and services, etc.

Is that too much for one app? Do people think that the proper architecture for an Open Apps Ecosystem is more like https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Unix_philosophy where tools that do one and only thing can be piped together like the late lamented Yahoo Pipes?

It could pre-populate with some of your github info

LDB is down right now, but running my Personator profile through raw worked worked:

Error message:

Fetch API cannot load https://github.com/bhaugen/open-data-self/blob/master/data.json. No 'Access-Control-Allow-Origin' header is present on the requested resource. Origin 'http://dinosaur.is' is therefore not allowed access.
