Why replace
#Replace /etc/init.d/ccpd

The official one from canon that comes with the installed .deb works as well. Wouldn't it be better to keep the original?

Is there any way to write thank you message on Github.

Hi! I have a problem with the lbp6020b printer, after installing the driver everything works fine, but after the first reboot, the printer does not print! Or prints after reconnecting to the usb port of the printer cable, but not correctly! How can I fix this? I have ubuntu 20.04 lts

Please add a restart command in Documentation.
I used on Ubuntu 18.04
sudo systemctl restart ccpd.service

it's useful in case of printing errors like "ccp sending data error exit 1".

I got this error:

• while using all the paper in the printer tray
• close the document before it was finished printing

this installer should remain interactive and not assume --yes to apt commands

it just wiped out EVERYTHING on my machine - Xorg, dns, etc 20GB of binaries :D

For anyone getting these errors. I was not able to resolve them (in a timely matter), but commenting line 270 and 271 and running the script again made it work for me!

The script does not restart ccpd, which leads to an endless cycle of waiting for it to run. Lines:

After successfull setup got the following warnings in the terminal. Printer is able to print! Thank you!
