I keep getting the error message “Failed to get UID: -794725232”. How do I fix this? I followed a guide so I don’t know much.

Not sure if I have the wrong amiibo_keys.bin file or what but whenever I launch the app from homebrew it crashes to a RSOD

My empty Nfc Tag isn't recognized by my NEW 3DS XL and does nothing when the nfc tag is placed on it. It also doesn't recognize my pre-written amiibos when trying to dump the files TO my 3DS. It worked for the first application instance, but after exiting the app and trying again a few hours later, I had no luck reading or writing them.

The last tutorial I can find it from 2017... I'm really struggling trying to download everything correctly. Thank you!

First time installing and trying to use with NFC215. Wireless is working and 3DS is updated to newest software. It's the first gen 3DS model.

When i put my NTAG215 card on the nfc reader/writer adapter, it literally doesn’t recognise it, no changes to the screen it remains saying ‘Place tag on scanner, or press B to cancel’

Due to my phone not having NFC, i'm stuck having to write NFC tags with my 3DS, and I feel like an idiot.
Point is, I see foomiibo support in the menu but its not implemented. I know the wumiibo app can generate them tho so there's an implementation for you to have a look at.
I can copy the bin file over but i'd rather just generate foomiibo in app and not have to launch ftpd, welp i guess its an option.

I wiped my MicroSD a bit ago and upon re-installing Thenaya and trying to browse for amiibo .bin tags, it shows a simple:

(null)
EMPTY DIR

I'm completely unsure what this is caused by. It worked flawlessly before.

And, with this error, attempting to press B, d-pad right, or R will result in the following crash:

I installed CFW using the 3ds.hacks.guide instructions. No redirections or anything of the sort.

I know this hasn't been updated in nigh on 3 years, but god damnit I need my amiibos!

Can this program be adapted to program ntag213 tags for Lego Dimension .bin files?

Would it be possible to make a modification of this that just dumps NFC data and doesn't verify?

The error message on a new 2ds xl:

StartOtherTagScanning() failed.
Failed to get UID: -928942488

Reason: Wireless/NFC disabled.

Fix: enable wireless, no need to connect to an actual network

Note: Unlike switch, 3DS has one option that controls both wireless and NFC communications

Hi there, thanks a lot for your great work, I use constantly on my New 3DS XL is a life saver because I haven't another device capable of writing NFC Tags.

I have a question spinning on my head:

If I took a "backup" amiibo file from the net which is 540 bytes long and using Thenaya write it to a NFC tag, and just then I dump the same NFC tag to a new bin file the sizes and content are very different, the dumped file now is 572 bytes.

Why the difference? The dumps are "unencrypted" on any way?
