awsh's Issues

Add support to passthrough --debug option to subcommands

I'm having an issue currently while running awsh login; the awsh-token-krb5formauth-create script seems to be writing a blank file to /tmp instead of the valid credentials.

While trying to debug this issue I've noticed that the awsh-token-krb5formauth-create script has a --debug option, but I don't want to have to execute this script directly and have to pass all the required arguments in manually. I was thinking that if there was a way to specify the debug option from the main awsh command and it would pass this debug flag on to any subcommands then executed.

For example, running the awsh login --debug command would cause any of the subcommands/helper scripts to also run in debug mode too to enable easier fixing of issues.

awsh login does not return an error message when no identities exist.

As an awsh user if I run the command "awsh login" before I create any identities I'd like to be prompted to use the "awsh identity-create" command.

At the moment I get a non-zero return code, no error message and no prompt to create an identity.

It looks like there is no error message because the TTY_OUTPUT_ENABLED environment variable is set to 1 by default for the developer release. Standard release is set to 0 so the problem is now the content of the message rather than the lack of message.

Feature: Add support for less/more detailed output

Add an option to show basic or full info by default when using any of the 'awsh list' subcommands

Basic: Show important fields only
Full: Surface as much metadata as possible, including any and all tags

Ideally configured via ~/.awsh/awsh.conf or similar

Add 'Account Name' to .login

When I run .login and choose an identity I see Role and AWS Account number.

I would like to see 'Account Name' too.
