arduino-web-thermometer's Introduction

Designed and programmed by Marcel Hecko, 2010 - 2012
Please treat under the GNU GPL v2 license.

Tested on: Arduino Uno R2, Arduino EthShield SD

Arduino EthShield takes up these pins on Arduino Uno R2:
10,11,12,13 - do not use these!

Temperature sensor: DS18B20 (TO-92 version)

DS18B20 connections to Arduino:
pin 1 - GND (Gnd on Arduino)
pin 2 - Signal (Digital pin 2 on Arduino)
pin 3 - Vdd (5V on Arduino)
4.7k pull-up resistor between 5V and signal pin - I use 47k resistor, others say 4.7k should be used.

Connecting Servo to indicate temperature between 20-40 deg. celsius:
- yellow - Arduino D9 (PWM)
- red - Arduion 5V
- brown / black - Arduino Gnd
