Whatsapp Chat GPT Bot

A chatbot for Whatsapp, powered by OpenAI's GPT-3 language model and the chatgpt-api and whatsapp-web.js libraries.

Requirements

  • Node.js 19 or above
  • OpenAI account

Installation

  1. Clone this repository.
  2. Install the dependencies with npm install.
  3. Add your email and password after creating .env file. See .env.example
  4. Start the bot with npm start.
  5. Optionally you can add discord webhook url in .env to get logs on discord

Usage

  1. Scan the QR code provided by the Whatsapp Web API.
  2. Send a message to the bot.
  3. The bot will respond with an answer generated by OpenAI's GPT-3 language model.
