Hi Happy,

The library doesn't check that the temperature and pressure readings are ready before reading the registers. Suggest you add something like:
while((read8(SPL06_MEAS_CFG) & 0x20) != 0x20) // Wait until temp reading ready
vTaskDelay(10);
and
while((read8(SPL06_MEAS_CFG) & 0x10) != 0x10) // Wait until press reading ready
vTaskDelay(10);

Hi Happy,

The code also uses the ASIC temperature sensore rather than the MEMS pressure sensor temperature. This is not in accordance with the manufacturer datasheet.
Suggest you put something like this in the code:
_tempReg.tmp_ext = 1; // Use external sensor in MEMS for temperature
