I know this was originally in development before the official Dropbox API, but notice some projects around that still use this.

Just wondering what DropboxUploader can/can't do (and the same with Dropbox's PHP API) - the README of this repo advises using the official API instead, why?

This no longer works, apparently the v1 dropbox api is retired.
