Skills progression timeline

Each skill should have a "skill progression" timeline that visualizes where their current skills rank in our collection of challenges for that skill type.

The timeline progression will be based primarily off of their scores in challenges, so as we add new challenges the difficulty to get 100% in each skills progression will be more difficult. The timeline will show courses, and routines that will help get better scores in each challenge.

More requirements tbd.

Skating Level 1 - "Previous Lesson" buttons don't match lesson navigation ordering

I navigated to Skating Level 1. The navigation bar on the right shows Stationary Edges as the first lesson in the course.

When I open the "Stationary Edges" lesson there’s a notification at the bottom of the page telling me to “Please go back and complete the previous lesson.” There’s also a red "Previous Lesson" button.

Both buttons take buttons take me to the Acceleration course which looks like it’s toward the end of the course based on the lesson navigation.

Similarly the "Stationary Crossovers" lesson links to “Arm Swing” lesson as the previous lesson. The “Arm Swing” lesson links to “Stationary Edges” as the previous lesson. And “Snow Plow Stops” links to “Stationary Crossovers” as the previous lesson.

It seems like what is defining the ordering for the navigation is separate and unaligned with the ordering used for these buttons.

Unable to cancel subscription

I was attempting to cancel my subscription to try to reactivate with HTHEarlyBird2020 code (though I'm not sure if it'd work =). When clicking cancel I got this error:

Interestingly, I didn't pay with paypal. I used the stripe test credit card number, so there's no recurring payment info on my PayPal account.

Lesson breadcrumb - "Courses" links seems off

When viewing a course lesson the "Courses" link does not take you to the Courses page. Instead it links to the current lesson you're currently looking at.

In this case I was on the "Basic Grip" lesson in "Intro To Stickhandling". The Course breadcrumb links to "https://thepond.howtohockey.com/lessons/basic-grip/". Clicking on it just effectively reloads the page you're currently on.

Similarly when on the course overview page "Courses" just links to the current course you're looking at.

The "Dashboard" link at the top of the breadcrumb tree links to "https://thepond.howtohockey.com/?post_type=acf-field&p=253" which shows a 404 error.

Unable to complete "Skating Level 1" lessons

None of the lessons in "Skating Level 1" show the "Mark Complete" button with the exception of "Backwards Skating".

On "Backwards Skating" this button is aligned to the right side instead of in the middle where it appears on other course lessons.

WP User Avatar not working in WordPress 5.5.3

This is a known issue with the plugin and should be resolved by the authors. If not resolved in time then I will re-visit and either revert to a supported WP version or fix the plugin myself.

"Take a tour" walkthrough feature

Provide new members with a smooth learning experience that will show them around The Pond dashboard and teach them the basics of how to use our learning material.

i.e.

  1. This is your dashboard
  2. Course progression
  3. Profile/Facebook access
  4. All available courses
  5. Routines
  6. Skills vault
  7. Challenges
  8. My saved content
  9. Your account

Redirect after signing in with Google

When user first signs in they should be directed to choose a membership plan if they have no active or expired subscriptions. If there are any expired subscriptions then continue to show the subscription tab in their account.

"McDavid In Tight Challenge" allows fractional values

It's possible to enter fractional values for this challenge which don't make sense in context of targets hit.

The "step" on the input is currently "0.01" so it kind of encourages this behavior through the buttons on the input field. This could be set to step="1" min="1" to encourage whole numbers.

This is probably not worth worrying about.

Member referral page

Let members "expose" one lesson, challenge, or routine every week in their "referral page". Figure out a way to give new members and the "referee" bonuses for referring a new member.
