Range Queries

Hello,

I have an application, where there are a lot of voxel points (say, 1 million or more) and I need to find all the neighbors to a given point within a specified distance. I have learnt that Octrees could be used for range queries in 3d spaces. Would the linear octree implemented in libzinc help in my use-case? Please let me know. From the API, I could not figure that out. Your help is appreciated.
