For the ease of the person who handles updating the discretionary budget spreadsheet, it would be nice to include the following with each vote:
-Who proposed it
-The date it was proposed
-The date the vote ended

The external URLS (like that in http://vote.hackerdojo.com/issue/3fuixqsm6o75d09rphzagecvtwnyk8l41b2j) is not working

New feature:

Add an option to put an email (presumably a mailing list) address in when the vote is created, along with a custom message.

The app announces that the vote is opened, gives a N-before closing day reminder that the vote will close, and sends out the message when the vote is closed. The custom message would be appended, and could be used to give context to the vote or for any other purpose.

My opinion is that clicking the logo should take you to http://www.hackerdojo.com - and a link should be added to handle going back to http://vote.hackerdojo.com
