prettifysegfault in gcc

Extract from prettifysegfault.cpp and copy into prettifysegfault-gcc.cpp, specify for which version of gcc / clang that it works and just disable and warn otherwise.

Missing README.txt

  • filters.pro and tfrheightmap.pro both include README.txt. In the former, the file doesn't exist.
  • In the lib/justmisc and lib/signal folders, there are files named README that are not referenced in their respective .pro files.

How should this be fixed?

Also, in lib/backtrace, there is a README.md which is not referenced in the .pro file, but I guess that's perfectly in order.

Ubuntu: buildandrun.sh proceeds to build after submodules cannot be checked out

On Ubuntu 14.04, buildandrun.sh proceeds to build even after the submodules have failed to be checked out (no permission to access repository), which gives misleading compilation errors because of missing files. On Windows, the build is instead aborted when this happens, which is much better.

Also, whenever something goes wrong when running buildandrun.sh, the terminal exits, closing the terminal window. Same thing on Windows. This makes it hard to read the error messages and figure out what has gone wrong...

Missing LICENSE

The following files include a non-existing LICENSE file:

  • filters.pro
  • heightmap.pro
  • justmisc.pro
  • signal.pro
  • tfr.pro
  • tfrheightmap.pro

How is this fixed โ€” by adding the missing files, or by removing the includes?

If the latter, be aware that gpumisc.pro and backtrace.pro also include such a file, but in those cases, one that exists. Should the files and the includes be removed?
