Install fails on first incorrect smile ID

Homey: 3.0.0, appversion 3.0.5

I tried to install a Plugwise P1 v3 smartmeter, but it failed because I entered a wrong ID.
You can alter the smile id and try again, but it fails again and the again, I am sure I used the right ID the second time and later.
A retry (with restart) of the installation wizzard succeeded. It fixed the problem for me.

Nothing urgent, I expected the app to either retry with newly entered smile ID or abort the installation.

No more MQTT data with version 4.0.0 of P1 App

Hi Robin,

Since this version 4.0.0, the MQTT hub does not receive any MQTT events from this app. The app itself seems to be working. I can see smart meter data being updated.

I am aware that this app is not the MQTT Hub app. But this app was updated in my Homey and now my MQTT dashboards don't update anymore.

I have updated all other apps. I have updates my node red and node red dashboards. I have updated all components on the dashboard. I can see other updates arriving from Homey, except for P1 data.

Would you be able to help investigate please?

Roger

Request: Ledring max consumption

Hi Robin. I have a request: Make the Ledring max. consumption configurable in flow action cards.

Instead of a fixed value, I want to set it dynamic with weekly peak power usage in flows.

Maybe the same for max. production? Not for me - i don't have solar panels - but i can imagine that others want to calculate a value based on sun-hours.

Homey Bridge

Hi,

I have bought the Plugwise Smile P1 and thought I could you it with Homey.
When I wanted to use the Plugwise Smile P1 I saw it is only available for the Homey Pro.
Could say if it will be available in the (near) future for Homey Bridge as well?

Best regard,

Michel Stroober

Plugwise p1 voor Homey Bridge

Beste Robin,
Is het mogelijk om de app beschikbaar te maken voor de Homey Bridge? Ik zou mijn plugwise graag op de Homey Bridge uit kunnen lezen.
Alvast dank voor de moeite.

Water usage measurements on P1 Port

Thank you for this good piece of work!

I've just bought a Plugwise Smile P1 device and they will install a new Smart meter (including a P1 port) in April in my house.

When I look trough the description and briefly through sourcecode, I do not see that the measurement for water usage is included.

To measure water (which is included in the project) the Obis reference are 0-n:24.1.0.255, 0-n:96.1.0.255, 0-n:24.2.1.255, where n is defined by the installation (see document Dutch Smart Meter Requirements v5.0.2 Final P1.docx from 26-02-2016). Perhaps I just missed it, but if it is not pressent, is it already included in the planning?

Kind regards
Rudi Tholen

Generated energies

Hi, I miss the data of the generated energy per meter rate. I want to see exactly how much energy we use and for this I need to increase the consumed energy with the generated energy to come to a total consumption. In the screen from the plugwise GUI i can see this information but i missed them in the APP in homey.
How can i read out the total consumption? From the inverter I can get the generated energy but part of it we use right away and the other part is delivered back so I can't just add this value up.
Can the generated energie information be added to the app?

Socket Hang Up

Hi I have a socket hang up since some time now. The debug log file says every ~20 seconds:

  • [managerdrivers] [smilep1][0] Poll error socket hang up
The Smart meter app in the device list displays a red exclamation mark.
The Smart meter details page says "Device is unavailable" and " socket hang up"

I'm on Homey 2.5.1 (2.5.0 had the same issue)
Plugwise P1 app version 3.0.3

New plugwise P1 firmware doesnt work with homey anymore

Unfortunately the new firmware which plugwise released for the plugwise P1 will not work with the Homey app anymore.

Firmware version: v3.3.5

You need to use their “plugwise home” (blue P app icon) app now as well. Instead of the dedicated plugwise app for the P1 (the brown yellow app icon).

So perhaps they combined that API. So that they can also use the plugs, adam, lisa and now also the P1 in the same app.

Ledring doesn't work in Homey V2

The ledring screensaver doesn't work anymore under v2. It still shows up in the list of screensavers, but when you select it the screensaver does not change.

Socket hang up error after reboot of router

After a reboot of my KPN Experia V10 router, the plugwise smile app in Homey gets disconnected and shows an error (socket hang up). A restart of the app in Homey does not solve the problem. The only way out that I found was to de-install the app and re-install the app again. Add my plugwise smile device again (and repair all flows with variables of the plugwise smile). Is there a way to prevent this from happening after a reboot of my router?

Plugwise P1 EHOSTREACH error

Homey cannot connect to the Plugwise P1 anymore. I tried rebooting Homey and the P1 but still I get the message “connect EHOSTREACH 192.168.0.185”.
The Plugwise app works like a charm and also Home assistant can connect to the P1.

I already created a diagn. Report.

Gas meter not updating

Hello, my P1 is not updating the gas meter ani more sinds 8-8

Can you help?
Gr Jeroen (NL)

Gas measurement is incorrect when < 1 m3 per hour

Hi,

I found an issue when gas interval amount in one hour is less than 1m3 the difference calculation is incorrect. it rounds with Math.round() but then less than 1 (for example. 0.323 m3 per hour)
it will always return 0.

See line:

measureGas = Math.round((meterGas - this.meters.lastMeterGas) / passedHours) / 1000; // gas_interval_meter

would be very nice for the gas bill when i stay every hour under 1 m3 🤣

Time out error

HI Robin, thanks for the app.

Unfortunately I get a time out error and afterwards a comment that it could not find that pairsession.

I have plugged in the P1 in lan and the p1 and the plugwise home app works, however I can't seem to connect it to the homey. Do you know why? thanks in advance!
Kind regards
Peter
