i saved one webpage e.g http://m.sme.sk , and when i tried to read this saved xml it shows some unusual characters especially with other languages like arabic, hindi etc...

I am team mate with antarix, Continuing issue closed yesterday only, I can see that, it encode weburl properly (http://www.sme.sk) but not the mobile site url(http://m.sme.sk).
Look at this issue. It will be a great help to me, as i m using this in a big forthcomming android app. Attached is the screenshot of wrong encoding.

I have noticed that for Android 4.4 handsets, saving a webview with:

webview.saveWebArchive(name);

and reading it after with WebArchiveReader WebArchiveReader (see code below) throws an Encoding Exception:

Hello, I love this library, thanks for anyone who create this, it is very helpful for my work,In my project, i have tested and called this code in many part of my project, In One of the experiments, The Images didn't show up eventhough I didn't set it to work like that. Hopefully You can improve it
