Thanks for letting me know.
It's not recommended to install postgraphile or this package globally; in fact it's rarely the right thing to install any node package globally (there's a few limited exceptions, such as yarn and neovim). If you see any PostGraphile documentation saying to install with -g please let me know and I'll fix it.
If you install both postgraphile and @graphile-contrib/pg-simplify-inflector locally it should work 👍

👍 We should probably add a note to say that you shouldn’t generally do that, but it’s probably still the right way for the quickstart.
