macscripts's Introduction

macscripts

A collection of random Mac scripts.

These scripts are all very old, and it is highly unlikely that any still work. Any that do still work probably shouldn't be used as they use a lot of unsafe techniques.

macscripts's Issues

Repeated script in Unlock Network

I think the install_check script is repeated in post_install.
Not sure but maybe you were meant to copy uninstall script to post_install and rename group to everyone.

Does not set all desktops

When i run the script from the terminal:

python set_desktops.py --path /path/to/image.jpg

It sets only the current desktop's background

Puppet-Install SSL Cert Issue

the Puppet-Install script combined with Puppet-Bootstrap doesn't appear to put the SSL certificates inside /etc/puppet which is causing issues for future runs of puppet. Any suggestions?

error processing UnlockPrinting.plist

Apr 10 2014 07:43:48 -0400 Running installcheck_script for UnlockPrinting
Apr 10 2014 07:43:48 -0400 ERROR: ('Unknown installs item type: %s', None)

Munki client version:
Managed Software Center: Version 4.0.1987 (1987)
launchd: 2.0.0.1969
core: 2.0.0.1963
admin: 2.0.0.1963

OS X: 10.9.2 (13C64)

First time I've activated these scripts, so do not know if the issue existed in Munki 1, or if this is a Mavericks thing.
